I was born and raised the Philippines, where my parents were missionaries, and I have eight brothers and sisters, hence the inspiration for my first book.

To pay the bills, I work as an automotive detailer specializing in the gross stuff (think smoke, drugs, pets or children abuse, stains, vomit, broken windows, and repossessions). My wife works online as a teacher for The Potter School.

At the moment, I have four children ages four and under. Yes, I know what causes that, and I can give you tips, if you really need them. I’m a firm believer that children are a blessing, irregardless of how I feel at any given moment, and worth the sacrifice.

Writing is like gravity for me; I’m constantly drawn to it, and it helps keep me oriented in life.

As a Christ follower, I find it telling that God chose writing as his preferred medium to reveal himself to the world.
